Dato' Ismail, Wife and Kids
We at Alpha Homestay feel very honored to receive Dato' Ar. Hj. Ismail bin Hj Hashim, as our guest during the last long weekend. Although the visit was un-planned by him, but we feel so grateful to receive such a respectful corporate figure into our Studio Deluxe.
Coincidently, Dato' and his family was not able to find any room in any hotel in Melaka town on that evening. It was his friend who stayed in our Studio the previous week introduced him to me. And Dato' was lucky since I had last minute cancellation on that evening.
Cheerful faces...
For Dato' to arrive at Alpha Homestay from Melaka Raya, was like a nightmare.. In normal day, it took less than 10 minutes. But that evening was really a nightmare, it took him more than 2 hours and constant communications with me to guide him to our homerstay.
Dato' and my two other guests were amongst those many thousands people (mostly tourist.!) who were trapped in Melaka Raya, Dataran Pahlawan and Banda Hilir areas that evening. The locals, like me, normally will never go to that area during long weekends. We know how bad the jam will be.. By the way, finally Dato' arrived at our place just after mid-night..!!
Happy Ending, No Regret..!!
All the hardship got paid off when Dato' and family arrived at our place. They like our place very much, it's modern, simple, comfortable and spacious for their family.
We would like to thank Dato' Ismail and his family for staying with us. We wish to see you all again in the near future. Hope we can talk more about Bird's Nesting and some other interesting projects..
